Gardening

So it's been a while since I last posted on my blog.
I am finding less and less things to talk about as the day goes by seeing as how I'm practically doing nothing.
As I was doing my house chores today, I realized this is how stay at home mom would feel.
I did the laundry today, then went outside to hang them because the weather was so great!
As I finished hanging them all, I realized I noticed a pot of tree that my mom loves tilted against the deck fence because it's been knocked by the wind.
I quickly grab it upright and notice it's got bad leaves everywhere.
I quickly go back inside and grab a scissor and started trimming away.
Then I moved another pot that's the same tree but much bigger beside it so it can get some sunlight.
I proceeded to watering them and felt this accomplishment like I had just fed my children lunch...

Anyhow, there are a lot of plants that grow in my backyard.
Among these, there is this particular flower that caught to my attention.
I have no idea what it is called but it sort of looks like a periwinkle plant but this is extremely tiny! (8~1cm diameter at most per flower).
A periwinkle plant is known to carry vinpocetine, a potent molecule to increase blood flow to the brain.
It enhances cognitive function and it is probably one of the most powerful memory enhancing drug up to date (that isn't like amphetamine crazy drugs).
Once I find out what this plant's identity really is, I might just brew up some tea to drink for study times ;)

Rain

Rain rain rain.
It was a rainy weather today, from drizzling mist to gushes, it poured on all day.
I went to go visit my girlfriend up by New Market.
She's taking a summer field lab course for ecology and it's a very isolated place so I went to go keep her company.
Even thought it was raining all day, it somehow didn't seem depressing nor gloomy.
We went shopping for all the little things she needed.
Clamp light, lamps for the light, groceries, etc. :)
Didn't go anywhere special, didn't do anything out of the ordinary special but it was eventful in its own way.
After shopping for all those, we went from town to town, looking at different houses which got me thinking about my future.
How many kids, what kind of job, which car...etc etc
Kind of scared and excited about it.
I hope I can be a good husband and a good father.
Uneventful and yet so eventful!
It was a good day :P

Spring's here

As I step outside into my backyard, I see one of the trees starting to sprout its new life.
Somehow after that cold harsh weather, time has come for spring.
It felt like as if spring would never come but nature has endured it all and found a way to a new beginning.
The wonders of life and mother earth :)

Gets me wondering to what I have been doing all summer... oh lazy me XP

Nocturnal

I've been meaning to write a new post on my blog for a while now...but I am unsure of what to write here...
My daily life since summer started has been pretty dull.
I am either watching youtube videos, on facebook, or playing video games throughout the day and spending it uselessly.
Most of my friends are busy with summer school so I haven't been able to meet much either.
Worst of all is that now I am officially nocturnal.
It is 5:18 AM right now...and I will be going to bed after posting this.
Everyday at 5AM, birds come out to play (they wake up so early >_>) and start chirping away.
It gets louder as it goes on so if I don't fall asleep anytime soon it will be nightmarish....6AM is the worst.....so many birds............
I hope I fix this bad habit...
Good night.
